The arrival of Manuel De Luca at Modena from Cremonese is reportedly complete. According to TuttoMercatoWeb.com, the transfer will be made official tomorrow. Manuel De Luca will then be available for the resumption of the Serie B championship next weekend.
According to Sky Sport, Manuel De Luca has undergone his medical examinations with Modena. He will join Modena on loan with an option to buy, which will become an obligation if Modena is promoted to Serie A at the end of the season. The deal is pending only the exchange of documents and will become official after January 2, when contracts can be registered.
TuttoMercatoWeb.com reports that Modena has decided to sign Manuel De Luca. The deal is close to completion, with the parties finalizing the last details. The deal is expected to be a loan with an option to buy, which would become an obligation if Modena achieves promotion to Serie A.
After being left off Cremonese's list in September, 27-year-old Italian centre-forward Manuel De Luca is set to change teams in the first days of January. In the summer, De Luca had hoped to have an impact with the club in Serie A, but he has now accepted that the scenario is not what he anticipated. At the moment, three Serie B clubs are primarily interested in him: Modena, which already attempted to sign him in the summer; Venezia, managed by his former coach Giovanni Stroppa; and Monza, whose interest is conditional on one of their current strikers leaving. De Luca, who joined Cremonese in July 2024 and is under contract until 2028, has made 2 appearances and scored 1 goal in Serie A this season. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €2.00m.
