Mamadou Sylla Transfer from Real Valladolid to Al Riyadh
Mamadou Sylla, a 31-year-old centre-forward from Senegal, has made a move to Saudi Arabia to join Al-Riyadh after spending two seasons with Real Valladolid. Sylla had signed with Valladolid in the summer of the 2023/24 season and played an instrumental role in the team's promotion to the Primera Division, notably by scoring a crucial penalty. Despite facing a challenging second season, he became one of the team captains and ended up as the top scorer with five goals. His dedication remained strong, as he continued to play even with a jaw fracture. The transfer helps Real Valladolid alleviate their salary cap issues in the Segunda Division. Real Valladolid confirmed his departure and expressed their best wishes for his new professional phase. Transfermarkt estimates the player's market value at €1.20 million.
