Trabzonspor is targeting Mamadou Fofana from New England in the MLS. The 28-year-old Malian international has previous experience in Turkey with Alanyaspor and is reportedly a target for the club. Fofana, who can play as a center-back and a defensive midfielder, is noted for his familiarity with the Süper Lig and is understood to be open to a return to Turkey. Trabzonspor is expected to initiate contact with the player in the coming days. Fofana joined New England Revolution in January 2025 and his contract runs until the end of 2027. He has 50 caps and one goal for Mali, and his current Transfermarkt market value is €1.80m.
