Atalanta Bergame is interested in Malick Fofana, according to a report from Corriere dello Sport. The price for the winger is between 40 and 50 million euros, a figure that the publication notes appears to deter Atalanta.

Atalanta is mentioned among several European clubs observing Malick Fofana, a 21-year-old Belgian winger for Olympique Lyonnais. RB Leipzig had previously shown interest in the player. AS Roma also expressed interest, viewing him as an offensive priority in a potential deal with an estimated value of around €40 million. More recently, Inter Milan has become another interested club. Inter has made initial exploratory contacts regarding Fofana. The club's interest is reportedly dependent on the potential departure of Luis Henrique, and it is specified that no concrete negotiations with Olympique Lyonnais have begun. Fofana has earned 5 caps for Belgium, joined Lyon from KAA Gent in January 2024 for a reported €17 million, and has a contract until 2028. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €30.00m. Lyon's asking price was reportedly €40-45 million in August 2026, while reports in June and July 2026 mentioned an offer from Tottenham of around €25-26 million.
