Majeed Ashimeru Transfer from Anderlecht to St. Pauli

The Ghanaian midfielder, Majeed Ashimeru, is currently in Hamburg to finalize a permanent transfer to the German first division club, St. Pauli, coached by Alexander Blessin. This marks the end of Ashimeru's 4.5-year tenure at Anderlecht, where he was loaned initially from Red Bull Salzburg before being purchased for 1.5 million euros.

St. Pauli, under the management of Aleksander Blessin, is showing interest in signing 27-year-old Ghanaian midfielder Majeed Ashimeru. Although Ashimeru has not made a significant impact at Lotto Park and currently holds a Transfermarkt valuation of 1.5 million euros, reports suggest that St. Pauli is prepared to offer 3 million euros for his transfer. Ashimeru, who is currently part of Anderlecht's C-squad, has two years remaining on his contract. In the past, Ashimeru turned down a transfer to Antalyaspor and has also been associated with Alanyaspor. Anderlecht would be very pleased with such a proposal, as Ashimeru, for whom they paid 2.5 million euros, has been unable to establish a long-term position in Brussels following the club's summer acquisitions. He was demoted to the C-squad along with Thomas Foket and Aleksander Flips, representing a notable decline from his previous potential shown under Vincent Kompany's management.
