'Fotomac' also states that Beşiktaş coach Sergen Yalçın personally insisted on this transfer. The Turkish media claim that Maicon will most likely continue his career at Beşiktaş. Maicon has a contract with Levski until next summer, but the Turkish team wants to sign him now.
