According to a report from Tomasz Włodarczyk of Meczyki.pl, Wieczysta Kraków has secured the signing of Maciej Kikolski from Widzew Łódź. The 22-year-old Polish goalkeeper will join the newly promoted Ekstraklasa side on a loan that includes a purchase option. Wieczysta Kraków was more convincing than its competitors, which reportedly included Motor Lublin. Kikolski wanted the move for more playing time, as he was no longer a starting player at Widzew following the signing of Bartłomiej Drągowski. He made 9 appearances in the Ekstraklasa during the 2025/2026 season. His contract with Widzew Łódź is set to expire on June 30, 2029, and his current market value, according to Transfermarkt, is €300k. In July 2025, Widzew Łódź paid a transfer fee for him that was reported to be €300,000.
