SC Heerenveen's 22-year-old Dutch central defender, Maas Willemsen, has indicated his ambitions to play for a top Dutch club. Speaking in the Sportcast from Omrop Fryslân, Willemsen stated that the top three, naming Ajax, Feyenoord, and PSV, could always contact him. The defender joined Heerenveen this season from De Graafschap, having chosen the Frisian club over Feyenoord, which had also shown interest at the time. Willemsen explained that he felt Heerenveen's plan for personal and individual development was right for him. His contract with the club is set to expire in June 2029 and his current market value is €1.50m, according to Transfermarkt.
