Matyáš Vojta Transfer from Mladá Boleslav to Sparta Praha
Matyáš Vojta has transferred from Mladá Boleslav to Sparta, with both clubs confirming the move on their websites. The Mladá Boleslav team stated that this is the most expensive transfer of a Czech player between two domestic clubs in history. According to media speculation, the Prague club will pay around four million euros for Vojta, plus potential bonuses of 750,000 euros. Sparta had been interested in the player for six months. Vojta said he was impressed by the club's conceptual plan for his development. Josef Jinoch, the director of sports development at FK Mladá Boleslav, confirmed that they had originally planned to sell Vojta in the summer and had received interest from multiple clubs, but Sparta's offer was the most financially significant and concrete. Sparta's sporting director, Tomáš Rosický, described the new signing as a confident and productive striker with good positioning, who has the potential to develop into a complete forward. The 21-year-old centre-forward has 7 goals and 3 assists in 17 Chance Liga appearances this season for Mladá Boleslav, which he joined in July 2024. The Czechia U21 international has 8 caps and 1 goal for his country at that level, and his current Transfermarkt market value is €2.20m.
