Miłosz Matysik Transfer from Aris Limassol to Jagiellonia Białystok
Łukasz Masłowski confirmed to TVP Sport that significant efforts were made to bring Miłosz Matysik back, as Jagiellonia was very keen on the player's return. The problem was the demands of Aris Limassol, who set tough conditions from the start. Although Jagiellonia quickly reached an agreement with Matysik, the transaction could not be finalized. Jagiellonia presented several proposals to Aris Limassol, but the owner did not agree to any of these options and was generally not very willing to engage in negotiations. At some point, the subject of the transfer was closed.
Jagiellonia Białystok tried hard to bring back Miłosz Matysik from Aris Limassol. There was an individual agreement with the player, who was eager to return. However, disagreements with Aris Limassol prevented the transfer. The Jagiellonia sporting director stated that Aris did not want to let the player go, and it was not about the money. Matysik confirmed via SMS his gratitude for the club's efforts. The transfer ultimately failed.
Miłosz Matysik, currently at Aris Limassol, has expressed a desire to return to Jagiellonia Białystok. His current club is blocking the transfer, demanding at least a partial repayment of the fee they invested in him (about 1 million euro in January 2024). The information is reported by Robert Bońkowski from TVP Sport.
Jagiellonia Białystok has made an inquiry about Miłosz Matysik. There are ongoing talks between the clubs. According to journalist Jarosław Koliński, Jagiellonia is currently the frontrunner for the transfer. The club is actively searching for a centre-back and Matysik is considered the most likely candidate to join soon. The Cypriot club (Aris Limassol) is reportedly willing to part with the player, provided terms are agreed.
Miłosz Matysik, a 21-year-old Polish defender and former player of Jagiellonia Białystok, is reportedly on the verge of leaving Aris Limassol and returning to Poland. Despite being linked with Lechia Gdańsk, Kuba Cimoszko suggests that he may end up joining Jagiellonia Białystok. Matysik can still be registered in the Conference League as a homegrown player on list B, despite the deadline passing. His contract with the Cypriot club runs until the end of 2028, and his market value is currently estimated by Transfermarkt to be €800k.
