Pogoń Szczecin has expressed interest in acquiring Luquinhas, who is currently playing for Fortaleza. Although Luquinhas has a valid contract with Fortaleza that extends for more than two years, there is a possibility that he may remain in the Ekstraklasa for a longer period. Legia Warsaw did not take up their option to buy him, which has opened up opportunities for other clubs, such as Lech Poznań, to vie for his signature. Pogoń Szczecin's interest reflects their ambition to significantly strengthen their team, with goals not only aimed at European competitions but also at winning the Polish championship.
