According to ChronicleLive, Coventry City are interested in Sunderland's 31-year-old English centre-back Luke O'Nien, with fellow Championship clubs Birmingham City and West Brom also showing interest. A move could happen in January as the player's opportunities have been limited, having made just two Premier League appearances since his return from injury. O'Nien, who joined Sunderland in July 2018, has a contract until June 2027 and a current market value of €1.30m, according to Transfermarkt.
