A report from Germanijak states that Jelenić is part of a group of players at Osijek who are regarded as valuable assets and are part of the club's negotiation position for the upcoming two or three years. The report also states that Osijek's young talent attracts foreign buyers and scouts, and that offers could be received soon. Furthermore, the report emphasizes that Osijek ought not to sell these young players in a hurry and should only proceed with a sale if an offer is high enough.

Luka Jelenić is entering the last year of his contract and is among the most interesting players on the market, according to Sportske Novosti.

Luka Jelenić, a 25-year-old centre-back, has attracted interest from Vitória Guimarães. He joined Osijek last summer from Varaždin for around €800,000 and has become a key player for them. Osijek is open to letting him leave for the right offer as they are reshaping their squad and could use the funds for new signings. Transfermarkt currently estimates his market worth at 1.00m euros.
