Slovenian club Maribor announced the signing of 26-year-old central defender Luka Gucek from Vorskla. Gucek signed a one-year contract with Maribor, with an option to extend for another year. He reportedly moved to Maribor as a free agent. Gucek will wear the number 29 jersey for his new team. Before returning to Slovenia, he played in Ukraine, initially joining Chornomorets in January 2023, where he participated in 35 official matches, before moving to Vorskla and making 18 appearances. Transfermarkt currently estimates his market worth at 500k euros.
