Almeria's 28-year-old Argentine midfielder, Lucas Robertone, turned down summer approaches from Aris and PAOK, according to Spanish media reports. The player, who was also linked to Panathinaikos, received another bid from Vélez Sarsfield, but the club could not satisfy the Spanish team's €5 million asking price. Robertone does not feature in the plans of his coach, Rubi, and although a transfer did not materialize in the recent window, a January move is viewed as highly probable. His contract with the Spanish club is valid until 2028. Transfermarkt estimates his market value at €4 million, whereas Almería originally spent €6.4 million to bring him from Vélez Sarsfield in 2020.
