Corinthians, who are seeking to sign a winger, have shown interest in signing 19-year-old Brazilian Lucas Ferreira, a former São Paulo player currently at Shakhtar Donetsk. The Brazilian club made a loan offer for the right-winger that included an option to buy. The Ukrainian team responded that they are not currently considering a negotiation for the player and that he is part of their plans for the remainder of the season. Ferreira was transferred from São Paulo to Shakhtar in the preceding August for a fee of ten million euros. Despite the initial rejection, the São Paulo-based club is still interested in Ferreira and is considering making another offer. His contract with the Ukrainian club is valid until June 2030, and his market value, according to Transfermarkt, is €7.00m. In the 2025/2026 Ukrainian Premier Liga season, Ferreira has played in 9 matches and has not scored any goals or provided any assists.
