Sky Sports reported that Tottenham rejected an opening offer of $51 million (£38 million) from Nottingham Forest for Lucas Bergvall, and that negotiations between the two clubs are ongoing.

According to Team Talk, Aston Villa are continuing to monitor Lucas Bergvall's situation and could challenge Tottenham if an opportunity arises in the summer. The report also states that Liverpool are prepared to compete for the player.

Lucas Bergvall has had his contract extended by Tottenham Hotspur. Initially recruited for 10 million euros from Djurgarden, Bergvall, a 19-year-old midfielder, has had a successful first season at the club. The new contract extends until June 2031. Transfermarkt currently estimates his market value at 25 million euros.
