Flamengo has expressed a strong interest in acquiring Lucas Beltran, a 24-year-old forward with dual Argentine-Italian nationality. The Brazilian club has reportedly initiated discussions with Fiorentina to explore the potential transfer of the player. Sources such as Goal Brazil have indicated that negotiations between the clubs are currently underway, with Flamengo willing to present an offer of 15 million euros to Fiorentina. Lucas Beltran, who joined Fiorentina in the summer of 2023 following a successful period at River Plate, has found it challenging to secure a regular spot in Italian football, despite his technical abilities and potential. The impending 2025/26 season is expected to increase competition within Fiorentina's attacking lineup due to the arrival of players such as Moise Kean, Edin Dzeko, and Albert Gudmundsson, leading Fiorentina to consider potential offers for Beltran. His contract with the club is valid until June 2028, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €18 million.
