Tuttomercato reports that there are ongoing transfer negotiations concerning Luca Ranieri, who was involved in transfer talks in January. Decisions about his future are postponed to the coming months.

Mario Giuffredi, Luca Ranieri's agent, has stated that the player would not rule out a departure, but that currently the club does not seem inclined to approve a sale.

According to Tuttomercato, Luca Ranieri has recently had a meeting with the Fiorentina management and reportedly was the first to suggest the possibility of leaving the club immediately, if his situation is considered a problem. Fiorentina management expressed their intention to keep Luca Ranieri in the squad at least until the end of the season, after which the possibility of a transfer could be evaluated. Fiorentina indicated that a high-value offer would be needed for the situation to change.

According to Corriere Fiorentino, former Fiorentina captain Luca Ranieri could leave the club because he is unhappy about a decline in his standing in the hierarchy under Paolo Vanoli.
