Nottingham Forest has announced on its website that it is buying Luca Netz from Borussia Mönchengladbach on a permanent transfer. The club stated that Luca Netz, aged 22, has signed a contract valid until the summer of 2030. Edu Gaspar, Global Head of Football at Nottingham Forest, described Luca Netz as a player with a good combination of potential and experience, and mentioned his ability to play on the left side and his 124 appearances for Gladbach.

According to David Ornstein, Nottingham Forest have agreed a deal with Borussia Monchengladbach for Luca Netz. Netz is thought to be on-site to formally complete his transfer. The Reds have agreed to pay a guaranteed fee of €2.5 million, which includes add-ons. Luca Netz is set to sign a long-term contract at the City Ground, and Gladbach will retain a sell-on percentage.
