Lovro Zvonarek Transfer from FC Bayern München to Osijek

Osijek showed interest in taking Lovro Zvonarek on loan from Bayern for the current season. However, he moved to Grasshopper instead.

Index.hr reports on Osijek's interest in Lovro Zvonarek from Bayern Munich. Osijek have made contact with Lovro Zvonarek from Bayern Munich, expressing strong interest. They have offered solid financial terms and the promise of regular playing time. However, Zvonarek and his entourage reportedly have no intention of returning to Croatia at this time.

According to speculative reports, Osijek is showing interest in bringing Bayern Munich midfielder Lovro Zvonarek back to Croatia. However, sources suggest the move is viewed internally as highly ambitious and difficult to pull off. Zvonarek, currently on loan at Sturm Graz until June 2025, is considered one of Croatia’s top prospects and remains under contract with Bayern until 2027. To make the deal more realistic, Osijek is reportedly exploring a creative structure that would include a buyback clause for Bayern and a significant percentage of any future transfer. While the club admires the 20-year-old’s talent, the financial and logistical hurdles remain substantial, making this a long shot for now.
