According to reporter Graeme Bailey, Barnsley are interested in signing Sheffield United prospect Louie Marsh, an English forward. The 22-year-old has been with Sheffield United since the age of six and has made five first-team appearances, all of which were in cup competitions. Marsh has previously had loan spells at Doncaster Rovers, Fleetwood Town, and Scottish side Falkirk. It is not currently known if a potential deal for the player would be a loan or a permanent transfer. Marsh has been capped twice for the England U20 team, scoring one goal. His contract at Sheffield United is valid until 2028, and his current market value is listed by Transfermarkt as €150k.
