Lorenzo Pirola Transfer from Olympiakos Piraeus to Southampton
According to reports from England, Southampton is interested in Lorenzo Pirola. The Italian defender is also the subject of significant attention from his home country, with several Serie A clubs, including Milan, monitoring the 23-year-old. There is a general reluctance among Italian teams to allow a promising compatriot to leave the league. Juventus considers Pirola a high-priority target and appears to be in the primary position to submit a proposal. It is believed that a bid from Juventus for the Greece-based player would likely not be more than €20-25 million, a sum considered a suitable basis for starting negotiations. Pirola joined Olympiacos Piraeus in July 2024 and his contract is valid until June 2028. In the 2025/2026 Super League 1 season, he has made 12 appearances and provided one assist. The centre-back has also accumulated 26 caps and scored 3 goals for the Italy U21 national team. His current Transfermarkt market value is €9.00m. In December 2025, it was reported that Olympiacos' demands for a potential transfer to Roma were over €15 million.
