Tuttosport reports that Sampdoria is considering signing Lorenzo Insigne. Insigne is a 35-year-old Italian winger and a free agent following his time at Pescara, where he returned last January but was unable to prevent the team's relegation to Serie C. The club has reportedly offered Insigne a one-year contract valued at around 500,000 euros. The player is said to be taking a few days to evaluate the proposal. Insigne has 54 caps and 10 goals for Italy. The offer would reunite him with Attilio Lombardo, a member of the new coaching staff with whom he worked in the Euro 2021-winning national team setup. Transfermarkt estimates Insigne's current market value to be €1.40m. He has also been linked with Salernitana and Monza.
