Plymouth Argyle's Swiss-Kosovan striker Lorent Tolaj, 24, has attracted interest from Championship clubs, including Sheffield United, and from Celtic. His performance during the 2025/26 campaign, in which he has scored 16 League One goals and 20 in all competitions across 35 appearances, has drawn attention. Previously, Tolaj scored 25 goals in the National League for Aldershot and 15 in League Two for Port Vale. He is viewed as a player whose performance is improving and who could provide Sheffield United with a younger, long-term striking option with resale value.
