Bristol City are in ongoing talks with Plymouth Argyle over a potential deal for 24-year-old striker Lorent Tolaj, having made an offer valued at £4m plus add-ons. The Championship club is reportedly hopeful of concluding a deal swiftly as they aim to strengthen their attacking options. Bristol City are actively pursuing the Swiss-Kosovan forward, who performed well for Plymouth Argyle last season and has been capped by Switzerland at U19 level. This pursuit is not expected to impact the club's separate and ongoing discussions to sign Dom Ballard from Leyton Orient. Tolaj's contract at Plymouth is valid until 2029, and he has a market valuation of €1.50m. Several other Championship clubs, including Leicester City, Swansea City, and Stoke City, have also been linked with him.
