It is reported that Colorado Rapids from MLS are among the clubs interested in Loïc Williams, a 24-year-old Spanish-Congolese versatile defender from Spanish second-division side Granada. The player, who can operate as a centre-back, right-back, or defensive midfielder, has also received interest from Saint-Etienne and Swiss club YB. YB has already submitted three offers for Williams, with the latest valued at two million Euros. Williams joined Granada from Tenerife in July 2024 for a fee reported to be €600,000 and his current contract runs until June 2028. He has made 19 appearances in LaLiga2 this season. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €1.00m.
