Lionel Messi has an initial agreement to buy the Spanish second division club Eldense and become the team's majority shareholder. For the deal to be finalized, legal and contractual details must be resolved, and the purchase is subject to approval by Spain's Higher Sports Council. The 39-year-old forward currently plays for Inter in MLS, where his contract expires on 31/12/2028.
