Lindon Selahi Transfer from Rijeka to Lecce
Lecce expressed interest in acquiring Lindon Selahi, but the player chose to join Widzew Łódź instead. The Albanian international, who had recently secured the Croatian championship with Rijeka, was pursued by multiple clubs, including Lecce, Hellas Verona, Anderlecht, and Polish competitors Lech Poznań and Raków Częstochowa. Selahi ultimately made the decision to sign with Widzew Łódź, committing to a three-year contract with an annual net salary of 500,000 euros. His choice was largely influenced by the lucrative financial offer and the opportunity to reunite with coach Željko Sopić, with whom he had previously collaborated at Rijeka. Selahi is scheduled to undergo medical examinations next week prior to officially joining the team.
