Lindon Emërllahu leaving CFR Cluj?
Polesie is preparing to transfer Lindon Emerlaku, a 23-year-old midfielder for CFR Cluj and the Kosovo national team, during the winter transfer window. According to the Kosovo Football public page, Emerlaku agreed to move to Polesie only after CFR Cluj's owner, Nelutu Varga, threatened to deprive the midfielder of a place in the starting lineup and a 100,000 euro bonus.
Sport.ro has reported on recent rumors of a potential move to England for the midfielder. The agency that represents Emerllahu has several connections with English football, which could be decisive in determining the next destination for the Kosovar international.
The Kosovar is expected to join Polissya Zhytomyr, which is offering 1.5 million euros and a salary of 500,000 euros for the player. Mihai Stoica told Prima Sport that he had heard and known from Florin Cernat that those from Ukraine are interested in Emerllahu. Stoica added that he had known for a long time that the player is not interested in going to Ukraine.
An agreement has been reached by the player with the Ukrainian club, according to journalist Pavel Pablo. CFR Cluj will receive 1.5 million euros in addition to 10% of the amount from the player's next resale.
