Real Betis are reportedly considering a move for Bologna midfielder Lewis Ferguson, 26. Roma and Atalanta are also considering the former Aberdeen player. Bologna is seeking a fee of approximately £17m for the Scotland international, who has earned 27 caps and scored one goal for his country. Ferguson joined Bologna in July 2022 and his contract runs until 2028. His current market value is estimated at €14 million by Transfermarkt. In June 2026, Bologna's asking price for the player was reported to be in the range of €17 million to €25 million, and his original transfer from Aberdeen in 2022 was for a reported €3.5 million.
