Lewie Coyle: Hull City Contract Extension

Talks regarding a new contract for Lewie Coyle at Hull City are close to being concluded. Coyle's current contract with Hull City is set to expire this summer, although the club holds an option to extend it by an additional 12 months. There have been extensive discussions about a longer contract to keep him at his hometown club. Acun Ilicali stated he hopes Lewie Coyle will remain at the MKM Stadium for the rest of his career. Ilicali also said that Coyle belongs with the club and that he does not want to see him play for another team. Furthermore, Ilicali stated that for him, the team's captain must finish his career with them. He added that they are working on it and that some details remain to be settled.

Talks for a new long-term deal with 30-year-old English Right-Back Lewie Coyle are nearing completion. The contracts for both Coyle and Slater expire this summer, and though the Tigers have 12-month options, they are close to agreeing new long-term deals to extend their time at the MKM Stadium. In the 2025/2026 Championship season, Coyle has made 18 appearances and provided 4 assists. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €1.30m.
