Udinese Calcio has announced that 23-year-old Portuguese defender Leonardo Buta has been recalled from his loan at Eibar in Spain. The player's return to the Italian club was described as a formal step before he joins Rio Ave in his home country for the second half of the season. Buta will continue on loan at Rio Ave until June 30, 2026.
