Millonarios is close to signing Leonai Souza for a six-month contract. Leonai Souza arrives after recovering from a pubalgia injury and after Náutico announced a mass departure of players and agreed to the rescission of his contract. Globo Esporte reported that the midfielder did not meet expectations at Náutico, which led to his early departure. The contract with Millonarios would initially be for six months, during which the club will evaluate his performance and physical response. If he meets the established objectives, the contract would be automatically renewed for another semester. The move was requested by coach Fabián Bustos, who previously managed Leonai Souza at Barcelona de Ecuador.
