An agreement was struck between CFR Cluj and Rapid Bucuresti on transfer deadline day for the move of 27-year-old Brazilian center-back Léo Bolgado. FCSB had also expressed interest in the defender, but its owner, Gigi Becali, was deterred from making a formal offer by CFR Cluj's valuation of at least 700,000 euros. Seizing the opportunity, Rapid agreed to a package deal for both Bolgado and midfielder Alin Fică for a total of one million euros, according to Fanatik. The same source indicates that CFR Cluj secured a 20% sell-on clause for any future transfer involving either player. Bolgado is poised to sign a three-year contract with Rapid. The player, who was also previously linked to Dinamo Bucureşti, has a market valuation of €1.80 million, as per Transfermarkt.
