Voetbalprimeur.nl has reported that KAA Gent holds an interest in Patro Eisden's striker, Leandro Rousseau. Rousseau's contract with Patro Eisden is valid until the summer of 2027 and includes an option for an additional year.

Voetbalnieuws.be reports that although AA Gent has been mentioned as a club with an interest in Leandro Rousseau, that interest is not concrete at this time. To date, a concrete bid has not yet been made.

According to Jeunes Footeux, AA Gent and Saint-Etienne are keen to sign Léandro Rousseau. The 22-year-old Belgian striker has drawn interest after a strong season with Patro Eisden, which he joined in July 2025, where he scored 17 goals and provided one assist in 31 league appearances. Patro Eisden's CEO, Wouter Corstjens, has indicated that he anticipates Rousseau will be difficult to retain and that the club will not prevent a transfer if a suitable offer is made. With one year remaining on his contract, it is expected that a fee of around €2 million will be necessary to secure his transfer. Transfermarkt estimates his value at approximately €1 million.
