Viborg FF has completed a transfer, acquiring 23-year-old Ivorian winger Lasso Coulibaly from AJ Auxerre on a loan deal that includes a purchase option. This move marks a return to the Danish Superliga for Coulibaly, who has previously played for Randers FC and FC Nordsjælland. Viborg's football director, Mads Agesen, stated his satisfaction with bringing a player who was formerly a high-profile player in the league back to Denmark. Agesen described Coulibaly as a fast, technically skilled player who can cover multiple offensive positions and fits the team's style of play. Agesen added that Coulibaly comes from a high level in France and is expected to help the team this season. Coulibaly joined the French club in July 2024 and his contract there runs until 2028; he has two caps for the Ivory Coast U23 team. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €800k.
