Kyle Benedictus, a 34-year-old Scottish centre-back who joined the club in July 2022, is one of the players whose contract is set to expire in the coming days. Neil Lennon stated that many of the players who were close to success this season would not be there the next year and that they have offered contracts to players but some have delayed their decision, so he is assuming they are going to go elsewhere. Lennon also mentioned that many players have been given free transfers already.
