FC Köln, confirmed that Lund was informed he would not be part of the squad for the upcoming season.

Kristoffer Lund, who has been on loan from Palermo FC to 1. FC Köln since last summer, has become a regular starter. The loan deal includes a purchase option with an approximate value of three million euros.
