Norwegian media are describing Kristian Eriksen's transfer from Molde to Brann on Monday as a shock and a bomb. The move by the 30-year-old Norwegian offensive player was unexpected. According to NRK, Molde player Martin Linnes stated that the news was a great shock to the player group. Molde director Ole Jakob explained that the club attempted to keep Eriksen and made him an offer, but the player wanted a longer contract than they could provide. Ole Jakob said that when an opportunity for a longer agreement emerged at Brann, the club understood Eriksen's decision to accept it and wished him well. Anette Sæther, leader of the fan group Tornekrattet, stated that Eriksen will be missed as an important figure both on and off the pitch.
