AaB director Michael Tuxen Boll confirmed that the club rejected a summer bid from Sønderjyske for the 25-year-old Norwegian winger Kornelius Normann. Boll explained that AaB decided against selling the player because they wanted him to assist the team in meeting its objectives and to continue the goal-scoring performance he demonstrated in his first season. The player also stated his desire to stay with the club, citing that he is doing well in Nordjylland and values AaB's potential and fanbase. The decision to stay in Aalborg was made after a brief discussion between Boll, sports director John Møller, and Kornelius. Normann joined Aalborg BK in August 2025 and has a contract until 30/06/2028. He has been capped three times for the Norway U19 team, scoring one goal. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €700.0K.
