Kostas Fortounis Transfer from Al Khaleej to Olympiakos Piraeus

Nikos Stamatelos reported on bwinΣΠΟΡ FM 94.6 that Kostas Fortounis has been offered a contract renewal by Al Khaleej. According to the report, Fortounis is not happy, does not want to stay, and wants to return to Greece and Olympiacos. Stamatelos also stated that Olympiacos manager Mendilibar wants the player.

Sport FM reports that Kostas Fortounis visited Olympiacos' training session at Rentis. His contract with Al Khaleej expires in the summer, and it is likely he will return to Olympiacos to conclude his career with the team.

Kostas Fortounis could be a solution for Olympiacos at 33, but he would need to accept a lower salary and terminate his contract with his current Saudi Arabian club.

There were rumors about Kostas Fortounis's potential transfer involving 15 million Euros and Neom, but these are dismissed as nonexistent. Al Khaleej has offered Fortounis a new contract, and he is satisfied with his current situation, implying no imminent return to Olympiacos this summer. Additionally, Transfermarkt currently estimates his market worth at 2.50 million euros.
