The owner of Botev Plovdiv, Iliyan Filipov, revealed that CSKA made an offer for one of the key players of the team, 26-year-old Greek defender Konstantinos Baloyannis. However, the offer was considered too low. Baloyannis's contract is set to expire in June 2026 and his current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €1 million.
