Relegated Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg is holding advanced talks with Belgian-Cameroonian right-back Killian Sardella and is seeking to complete a transfer. His current club, RSC Anderlecht, reportedly wants to extend the 24-year-old's contract but is unable to compete with the salary being offered. Sardella is a Belgian international with one cap and has made 178 competitive appearances for Anderlecht, where his contract runs until 2028. After 15 years with the Belgian club, a move to the Lower Saxony-based club is now a possibility. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €2.50m.
