St Mirren midfielder Killian Phillips is of interest to several American sides, including LA Galaxy, New England Revolution, and San Jose Earthquakes. The 24-year-old has an American passport and would not occupy an international roster spot in MLS. The Republic of Ireland international, who has four senior caps, is also of interest to a German club and the Belgian side Kortrijk. Kortrijk has been in contact but has not yet made a formal offer. Aberdeen recently placed talks on hold after being prepared to pay a fee of around £500,000, which St Mirren considered insufficient. Phillips has one year remaining on his current contract and will be permitted to speak with interested clubs in January. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €1.00m.
