Barrow have signed 21-year-old Irish goalkeeper Killian Barrett from Sheffield Wednesday for an undisclosed fee on an 18-month deal. Barrett, who has previous loan experience at Solihull Moors, Rochdale and Boston United, only learned of the move a few days ago. He added that after holding discussions with people at Sheffield Wednesday, he felt it was a good step for his career. He had joined Sheffield Wednesday in July 2025 and made three appearances in the National League this season. Barrett has been capped by Ireland at the U21 level.
