Kieron Evans, a 24-year-old Welsh attacking midfielder, has re-joined Newport County on a permanent deal after leaving National League side Eastleigh. Newport confirmed his return, describing Evans as a player who had become a popular figure with supporters because of his energetic performances and attacking quality during his previous spell. He has signed a contract that runs until June 2027.
