Scottish striker Kieran Shanks, aged 24, moved to Ayr United from Peterhead last week on a three-year deal. The striker will wear the number 10 shirt. The transfer followed a season in which he scored 22 goals in all competitions for the League One club. In the Scottish League One during the previous season, he scored 17 goals and made 4 assists in 36 appearances. Speaking to Ayr United TV, Shanks said he was delighted with the move and felt ready for the step up. He added that manager Gary Naysmith was pleased he had decided to join.
