River Plate is one of several clubs monitoring Kevin Rodríguez, a 25-year-old forward from Union Saint-Gilloise. The list of interested teams also includes Boca Juniors, Palmeiras, Atlético Mineiro, Olympiacos, Napoli, Como, Fiorentina, Torino, Bologna, and Porto. Union Saint-Gilloise acquired Rodríguez from Independiente of Ecuador in 2023 for €4.5 million, and his contract is valid until the summer of 2027 with an option for an additional year.
