Lech Poznań is considering a move for Romanian-Italian defender Kevin Ciubotaru from FC Hermannstadt as a potential replacement for Michał Gurgul, who may leave the club in the summer. Ciubotaru is 22 years old, and his contract expires on June 30, 2028. Unofficial reports suggest a deal for him could cost between 400,000 and 500,000 euros. Ciubotaru, who joined Hermannstadt in August 2023, has earned one cap for the Romanian national team. During the 2025/2026 season, he made a total of 34 domestic league appearances and provided one assist. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value at €400k. Romanian club FCSB has also been linked with the player.
